This Privacy Policy explains how Dukan Helper Ai ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using this app, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Information We Collect
- Shop data you enter: Product names, prices, stock quantities, customer names, credit amounts (Bakhi Khata), and profit/sales records. This data is entered by you and belongs to you.
- Email address: Only collected if you choose to create a cloud backup account. Used solely for account authentication.
- Device advertising ID: Collected by Google AdMob (our ad provider) to show relevant advertisements. See Google's privacy policy for more details.
- Purchase information: If you subscribe to PRO via Google Play, Google processes the payment. We receive only a confirmation that your subscription is active — we do not receive your card or UPI details.
2. How We Use Your Data
- All shop data (products, bills, Khata, profits) is stored locally on your device by default — it never leaves your phone unless you choose to enable cloud backup.
- If you enable cloud backup, your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) under your unique account. Only you can access it — secured by Firebase authentication rules.
- We do not read, sell, share, or analyze your shop data for any purpose other than providing the backup/restore service.
- We use Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect your advertising ID for personalized ads. You can opt out via your Android device settings.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Local storage: Data is stored using Android Room database on your device. It is not accessible to other apps.
- Cloud storage: Firebase Firestore is used, protected by Google's security infrastructure. Access is restricted to your authenticated account only.
- We use industry-standard security practices and rely on Google Firebase's built-in protection.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or shop data to any third parties.

5. Account & Data Deletion
- You can delete your cloud account and all associated cloud data at any time by going to Menu (☰) → Delete Account inside the app.
- Deleting your account will permanently erase all cloud backup data (Stock, Bakhi Khata, Profit records). This action cannot be undone.
- Local data on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the app.

6. Children's Privacy
Dukan Helper Ai is designed for shop owners and business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
8. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all your data within the app.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and cloud data from within the app.
- Portability: Your local data belongs to you — it stays on your device.
- Opt-out of personalized ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
